Three locations, one team

Close enough to drive to, on both sides of the river. Remote hands nationwide when the fix does not need a van.

Three bases covering the Illinois riverfront corridor and Jefferson County, Missouri — roughly sixty miles end to end, all of it inside a day’s drive. Schematic; positions are to scale, coastline and roads are not drawn.

Brighton, Illinois

North Madison County and the Macoupin line — the shop nearest to customers up the I-55 corridor and out into the farmland east of the river.

Alton, Illinois

Where Enlightec started in 1997 and where it was incorporated in 2002. Riverfront business, municipal and light industrial work.

An attorney of more than forty years in Illinois, Missouri and Colorado — real estate, business and financial law, from company formation and tax planning through contracts, finance, environmental matters and litigation. Founding shareholder and director of Alton Steel, Inc., and President of Green Investment Group, Inc. Degrees from Illinois Wesleyan University and Vanderbilt University School of Law.

He is the reason Enlightec engagements arrive with the commercial and contractual side already thought through, not bolted on afterwards.

Andrew Stillwell

Running Enlightec since 1997 and administering computer systems since 1991 — Windows Server, Linux and macOS; C and C++ down to kernel internals; TCP/IP written at the socket level rather than consumed through a framework. Author of MedPharm, Enlightec’s ERP for pharmaceutical operations.

He is also the engineer who turns up. The person who quotes your work is the person who does it, which is the whole argument for hiring a shop this size.
