Reading the classes
Why two classes
The split is the standard one: what is performed against what is supplied.
Class 042 · services
Covers work Enlightec performs for a customer: software delivered as a service, engineering and technology work, support on equipment, and web design. Nothing changes hands except the outcome.
Class 009 · goods
Covers things Enlightec supplies: computer servers, desktop workstations, laptop notebook computers, vendor product lines and licensed software. A thing arrives.
Overlap is deliberate. Several items — Software as a Service, technology services, technical support and web design — appear in both classes, because Enlightec both performs that work and supplies its product of it. A hosted MedPharm deployment is a service; a licensed MedPharm installation is a good.
